Linden Comansa introduces its first tower crane in Croatia

Spanish crane manufacturer Linden Comansa has delivered its first crane in Croatia. A few years ago, the Croatian construction market started to grow, also because of a more than considerable tourism increase.

The delivered model is a 11 LC 160 the biggest crane of the company´s new 1100 series, which has been sold to the company Zagorje Tehnobeton by MaxiLift, Linden Comansa’s official dealer in this country of the Adriatic Sea. The crane, sent from the factory with Zagorje Tehnobeton's corporate orange color, has been installed in one of the company’s factories of concrete reinforcements in Varaždin located almost 60 Km north of Zagreb ,Croatia´s capital, where it works almost 24 hours a day.

To get its work done in the most effective way, the crane has been erected with a height under hook of 25.9m, jib length of 55m, and with a travelling mechanism on a 3.8 M cross base which moves along 75m long rails. The 11 LC 160, which has an 8 ton maximum load capacity, can be erected with a jib length of 65 meters, and - using 1.6m wide tower sections - at 59.2 m freestanding height.
