Four Linden Comansa tower cranes for the highest building in Vietnam

Hanoi, capital of Vietnam, will enjoy in 2011 the great opening of the Keangnam Hanoi Landmark Tower complex, formed by a 70-store and 336-metre-high skyscraper, and two luxury residential buildings with 47 stores each. The work of four Flat-Top tower cranes from the Linden Comansa LC2100 Series is essential for the construction of this landmark building, with an investment of more than one billion US dollars. The tower cranes are two 21 LC 400, with maximum load of 18 tons, and other two 21 LC 290, with maximum load of 12 tons.

The building, which will be the highest in Vietnam, and the 17th of the world, is being constructed by South Korean investor Keangnam, on a 46.000 m2 area. It will have a total floor area of 579.000 m2, ranking 5th in the world for the floor area of a single building. One of its towers will held a 5-star hotel with 383 rooms, operated by InterCoantinental Hotels & Resorts. The residences will also be serviced by the hotel and will have access to its facilities.

These four tower cranes are the first to use the new internal climbing system from Linden Comansa, with double ladder, that guarantees a fast and easy work.
